Basics for Booking Your Banquet Hall

June 2, 2015 | Posted in Events

Simplify your booking by following five basic steps. It’s that easy! There’s no need to stress about planning your next event. Follow five start-to-finish basics for booking your banquet hall to find and secure the right venue for you.

Step 1. Choose a date for your event. The first question you will need to be able to answer is the date. Have a few additional dates open, in case booking is full at your desired venue.

Step 2. Research banquet halls. Learn more about the venue by visiting their website, review sites, and their social media channels. Oftentimes, you’ll be able to browse through previous event photos, real testimonials, event packages, specials and more.

Step 3. Jot down a list of questions that you may still need answered.

Step 4. Contact the venue. Call, email or visit in person by making an appointment. Visiting the actual venue and meeting the staff in person will leave a longer lasting impression. Ask to meet the people behind-the-scenes as well!

Step 5. Book your event. You can often choose to book your event on the spot, so remember to bring your checkbook if spacing is limited and in high demand. Don’t miss out on booking your date—good luck!
