Central NJ Fall Wedding Themes

Just because you’re getting married in autumn in New Jersey doesn’t mean your décor has to be all pumpkins, all the time. There’s much more to fall than that. Here are some of our favorite inspirations for fall themes and some of the best ways you can use our Central New Jersey wedding venue, the Windsor Ballroom at the Holiday Inn East Windsor, to make the most of it.

Rustic and Natural: The fall season brings images of a bountiful fall harvest and a return to simple, whimsical times. You can never go wrong with adding natural décor – think mason jars, simple floral arrangements, lots of twine, and wine bottles – to your ceremony or reception space. Inside the ballroom, ask about the Windsor Ballroom’s wedding accessories to add hues of orange and gold to your table settings or lighting. Here are a few ideas for that dreamy country-inspired look:

Sports Season: A truly creative twist, a sports-themed wedding is a great way to celebrate you and your spouse’s shared passion for football, hockey, baseball – or whoever you may cheer for! This theme can be colorful, cheerful, and bold – and a great way to encourage the celebratory feeling of the day. For décor, think team signs, balloons, and props for the tables – the more creative, the better.
